Each class with end with a long shavasana (relaxation). Relaxation is vitally important as it not only helps enormously with emotional health but will help you progress through a calm and gentle birth.
There will be plenty of time questions and to make connections with other mums-to-be.
From Treen:
I have been working with mothers and families for the over 30 years as a Midwife and Child Health Nurse, and have had a long Yoga self-practice. I was about 10 years old when I attended my first ever yoga class, here in Dubbo, which must have stuck with me as many years later I decided to become a Yoga teacher myself.
I completed my Yoga teacher training in 2014 and have since been teaching regular classes with a particular focus on Pre and Post Natal Yoga and have held several Yoga for Birth Workshops. Yoga not only gives you the skills for a positive birth experience, but gives you the tools to take with you throughout your parenting journey.
In Prenatal Yoga you will learn how to be confident in your body’s ability, though movement, breath, mindfulness and relaxation. Becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable is what we aim for. I am very passionate sharing my knowledge as a Midwife and Yoga teacher to help women have a positive and joyful Birth experience.
Currently I live on a farm near Coonamble with my farming husband and I am really excited to be coming back to Dubbo to teach Yoga.
